Download happens to be the biggest and most-famous rock/metal festival in the United Kingdom which every metal artist/fan dreams of visiting. The biggest names in metal and rock have played at Download and artists continue to flood in to play on their many stages. For a metal fan, some of the most important news during the year is who are the artists that will be headlining the festival? As a magazine designer, To include advertisements about Download would certainly motivate a reader to read ANARCHY. With this in mind, I will create some form of fake advertisement to be included on the cover.
From the pictures above, you can see the sheer scale and the popularity of this festival which is why I have to include the news on the cover.
As you can see on the artist headlining poster, each artist has a unique font which is important to the image of each band therefore I have to portray the same idea when styling my own artists fonts.
