The design feature which intrigued me about this image was the main cover line found in the centre. I especially like how it is placed at an anti-clockwise angle which is different compared to simple straight 180 degrees angle found in most magazines.
As metal music is about dark feelings and offers unique variations from other music, differently angled and placed cover lines will help to portray the variation.
Above and below the band name, there are story lines and quotes which help explain the cover line. This design offers more colour and fonts to contrast against the model which I am looking to add into my cover design.
