Since the realisation that I could not use internet images, I had to re-design my front cover as the internet image of my shattered glass effect was the base of my design.
With the new layout, I have decided my model will be screaming forward as if at the reader with his hands cupping the sides of his mouth to emphasise he is screaming. With the model pose, I will still be adding a broken glass effect in but instead of an image, it will be using stamps on Photoshop.
With the band title Leviathan, I will be twisting it anti-clockwise a little below the face of the model with bold cover lines on the top-left and bottom-right of the band name.
The masthead ANARCHY will still be as big and as bold at the top of my cover with the selling line, "words of the metal mouth" settling below at the bottom left of the masthead.
The very bottom of the cover will contain a rectangle angled clockwise covering the bottom section. Inside the rectangle will contain Download festival advertisements, the barcode, the price and issue number.
Surrounding the model will be cover lines to intise the audience to read my magazine as many cover lines create the impression my magazine contains much information about metal and artists.
There is still room for improvement as there is still lot's of white space for possible images or cover lines as I want the cover bursting out at the reader without it looking to busy.
